The Troll's Pantry - Brighton and Hove

New Management have completely turned this pub around, warm friendly and chatty staff. A lovely little new music venue that actually caters to young and old. They even offer vegan cocktails!!!! Was told by one of the new managers that live music is part of the new image now so will be back for their open mic for sure and their nachos topped off my night.

Hadn’t visited in a while, and was very much pleasantly surprised at the change. An excellent place for a tipple. Attentive, knowledgeable bar staff. Cosy, dimly lit speakeasy-vibes-place; open later than most/nearly all other places in the area. Great place to take a date or to enjoy an after work drink

I am amazed at the transformation the new management team has brought to this restaurant. The pub is currently undergoing a much-needed renovation and is on track to becoming the go-to spot for late-night fun in Brighton. Soon they will be serving coffee and tapas for those in need of a pick-me-up, as well as showcasing local art and musicians during open mic nights and live band performances. This is exactly what the area was missing! With a great selection of ales such as Proper Job and Otter, along with a variety of spirits and wine, all enjoyed with some smooth funk and soul tunes in the background. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Located in the heart of Brighton, this charming little bar provided excellent service. Our breakfast arrived promptly, taking only one hour to serve. This worked out well as it essentially covered lunch as well, saving us money. The new chef clearly knows his way around a bacon and egg sandwich, understanding that perfection cannot be rushed. The Americano coffee was outstanding, served at the perfect temperature of 55 degrees, with a dash of milk delivered expertly. The only thing to note is that if you are not a local, it might be wise to bring a spare pair of shorts.

We came here for breakfast on a recent stay. The breakfast is excellent value for money and delicious and the service was excellent.
