Delicious and authentic Thai food. Visited on a Monday and the restaurant was very busy . The food was super fresh, delicious full of flavour. The Specials were indeed delicious and although we had to wait a while it was so worthwhile waiting for. Spicy Pork belly noodles are very Spicy the Satay sauce is a class if it’s own…
Visited here last night and had a really lovely meal. The staff were welcoming and friendly from the offset and throughout the time we were there, we ordered the Coco Passion cocktail and the passion fruit gin which were both really good (would definitely recommend). The restaurant is decorated really nicely and it gives a warm environment whilst also being modern and trendy. The waitress was able to give us recommendations on items on the menu which she thought were good which is always a good sign. They also have a specials board which contains extra menu options. Once we ordered the food came really quickly as the restaurant wasn’t too busy as it was early. We both ordered spring rolls vegetable and duck and they were incredible, massive portions and tasted incredible. I ordered the country chicken with rice which was a massive portion enough for two for sure and tasted really good. You could tell the restaurant was family run which was a really nice touch which they also demonstrate on the website. It definitely came across that they run the restaurant as their passion rather than just for profit. Would definitely recommend to others! You can get a taxi from the seafront which takes 5-10 minutes worth the trip.
We dined at this restaurant on a busy Saturday night in October after making a reservation. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. We ordered prawn crackers, starters, mains, and drinks. We were surprised to be charged for the small bowls of prawn crackers and felt they should have been complimentary. We indulged in wine, beer, and cocktails with our meal. The chicken satay starter and duck pancake roll were delicious, with generous portions that could have easily been shared. My chicken massaman curry with coconut rice was excellent, while my husband enjoyed the pork belly. The portions were large, and we could have shared sides such as rice and noodles. None of us finished our meals, and some took leftovers home. My sister had a minor issue with her main dish, which was quickly resolved without charge. We had a great dining experience overall, with friendly and helpful staff. However, we found certain items on the menu to be pricey, such as £4 for prawn crackers and £4 for a soda mixer. Despite the cost, we would consider returning and ordering less food next time.
I have to say service spot on and I found out why before the end of the evening. The food was exquisite. Chicken Satay was dreamy the chicken still moist and the satay sauce had a bit of warmth. Would like to buy a bucket of that sauce. Five skewers of chicken which as I stated was dreamy. Then I had drunken noodles with chicken for the main course the heat level went up a couple of notches but was still really enjoyable there was pineapple chunks in the noodles which heightened the mix of flavours. We were chatting away whilst finishing our food some had finished and I thought it was unusual practice to clear away plates whilst others were still eating. Became clear when the man not wearing a waiting apron leaned across me still eating nearly got the opened water bottle up his sleeve said he needed the table in 5 mins Now I an sure when table was booked it was explained. I would suggest next time he asks us how our meal was and then he could say that the next dinner guests had arrived and could we start leaving the table. Waiter service 10/10 food delivery 10/10 food quality 10/10 food quantity10/10 management attitude needs work for a perfect score. My advice get there on time and enjoy the food. Be prepared to be asked to leave once your time is up. Great place to eat but not a place to chill. The stopwatch is on
