Very good, loved the food! The vanilla plantain empanada was a bit odd tasting, but the bean one was perfect. All in all, I would recommend.
I love all the food here! My husband I drive down there about once a month! We travel about 35 minutes but it's worth it!!! We love all the soups, tamales chips! All fabulous! I'd definitely recommend this place! Service is always nice!
I brought my mom and boyfriend here when I was back in Bridgeport visiting family. My mom is from Honduras but lived in El Salvador for a few years. We love eating pupusas. I'm very picky about them because I've had them several times in El Salvador so I feel like I have a good handle on what they should look and taste like. I highly recommend the cheese and the loroco pupusas. My boyfriend has 2 tamales, huge portions. The curtido (cabbage topping) is well made. The owners are very friendly, they sell pastries and some fun things from Latin America. Can't wait to go back!
