Himali Kitchen - Brentwood

This is the best Nepali restaurant in my area! The gate Thali with Chicken Sekwa is simply amazing. Although the Sekwa itself wasn't very seasoned, it comes with a bit of chili paste and holy basil, which really enhanced the flavor to my liking. And you absolutely have to try the Mango Lassi; it’s fantastic! The customer service is outstanding, and I can definitely see myself becoming a regular here!

The food was delicious and satisfying. When you request spicy, they really mean it—it's quite hot! The portion sizes were generous, and I found myself unable to finish my meal. Both the food and tea were served piping hot, so I had to blow on them before I could dig in. The staff was attentive and very polite, checking on the tables frequently, even though it was my first time dining there and I was alone. The space is small, but it doesn’t feel cramped, and there were soft cartoons playing in the background for the kids. I will definitely return!

This restaurant is fantastic! I recently ordered delivery through GrubHub, and everything arrived perfectly packed with no leaks at all. I tried the Chili Momos and Samosa Chaat, both generous portions and incredibly tasty. The Chili Momos were truly exceptional. They featured a delightful mix of peppers, onions, tomatoes, and a spicy chili sauce that provided just the right level of heat for a delightful endorphin rush. The momos themselves are handmade dumplings, and as a big fan, I can confidently say they are among the best I've ever had. The Samosa Chaat was equally impressive, with flavors that reminded me of the Indian restaurants in Pittsburgh, but with its own unique twist. The addition of crispy noodles (I think they were sev) on top added a brilliant textural contrast. They also have chicken nuggets for kids, which is a great option for those with sensory sensitivities. They're quite tasty, too! I will definitely be returning to Himali Kitchen as often as possible.

One of the most beautiful Nepalese restaurants here in Pittsburgh. The food is really delicious, excellent service, friendly environment. One of my “all time” favorite restaurant, Seine Must-try restaurant here in Pittsburgh.
