After I screamed five minutes hallo, I went back to vote in the kitchen. a young girl came out and I asked if the restaurant was open. she said yes. I said I tried to get someone's attention for the last 5 to 10 minutes. she denied that she checked every few minutes. then we placed our orders. the eerrolls said it came with salat. we are used to the Vietnamese egg rolls that wrap them in an salad leaf. when we asked the same girl over the salat, she proved that they must request salat. she has dug out some pieces of iceberg scarf, not romaine. the egg rolls were tasteless like the dipping sauce. we had to annoy our bowls with hoisin sauce and whatever to get a taste. it was very disappointing. we love breckenridge, but not this restaurant. the device was dirty too. then the entrance windows were dirty. that should have been our first note.
We just returned from eating here and are honestly just completely shocked at how bad the taste of the pho broth was. My husband has eaten pho his entire life, homemade and out in restaurants, and I've been eating it for 30 years. We have not tasted a worse tasting pho broth ever. So for those of you like us just looking to have yummy pho on your vacation, this pho does not taste like traditional pho and you may wanna consider looking elsewhere.
Ordered steamed dumplings (which were really Chinese, not Vietnamese) that were so-so. They were served with chopped, raw scallions sprinkled on top and salty soy sauce. Also got the grilled pork rice plate. The portion was more like kid’s meal than something for an adult. Rice was a bit mushy, the small portion of grilled pork has some Vietnamese flavor, but was really thin, dry and chewy. AND they put raw, chopped scallions on top. Look up the freaking recipe online already!
Worst pho that made my stomach sick. Soup has no Pho taste. Tendon were so small that I couldn’t even taste them.
What a PHO-phenomenal experience on main street. Try one of their signature beverages. We tried the Pearfect Mule and Thai tea. Our cocktails were timely, and hand crafted to perfection. My party of four friends had a blast. The Grilled Meat Spring Rolls (Pork) and Special Appetizer Sampler was fresh and crispy. We were so happy to try the Rare Steak, Brisket, and Tendon (Medium) X 3 and the P10. PHO Chicken and Shrimp (Small) X1. The entrée was served in a traditional huge bowl. Simply said the BEST PHO in Breckenridge, Co.
