Bar-B-Q King

We've been going to the BBQ King diner for more than 20 years now. The decor hasn't changed for as long as we've been going, but neither has the quality, selection, portion size or flavour of their food: a super meal for a reasonable price! My husband always chooses the back bacon on a bun (and it's legit English style back bacon too...not peameal (although they have that too)) which is loaded high on a big fresh bun with your choice of fixin's, and I go for the chicken souvlaki dinner that includes a hefty sized skewer, fries, pita bread and Greek salad. Deeeelish!In fact, it's so good that we don't mind the 25 minute drive to get there!

Bar-B-Q King is probably our favourite restaurant in Bradford Ontario. Primarily it is a delicious burger restaurant, but they also have some of the best chicken or pork souvlaki you’ll find anywhere. They also do a mean Greek salad to go with that souvlaki. Actually, I genuinely don’t think their’s anything on the menu that I don’t like.One of the great things they allow us to do is call in our order, 10 to 15 minutes before we want to pick up, and we pick it up steaming hot and smelling delicious. So sometimes when we’re on our way home from work, we call up our daughter, let her know what time we’ll be coming in to town, and she’ll call our order in. That really is so convenient and a huge time saving.We have lived in Bradford for almost 30 years, and I believe that Bar-B-Q King has been owned and operated by the same family in all that time. My family and I have always found them very friendly and courteous, and the food has always been amazing.

Good portion good food reasonable price. Old school burger place. Enjoy it. We had Chicken souvlaki dinner nice size portion of salad and fries could have used an option for two skewers of chicken but overall went away with a dull stomach and happy. Will return

We always go for breakfast and get in on the specials before 11 ....Saturdays & Sundays always busy and the food is great and fast....staff are always friendly and helpful.

Love this vintage restaurant. Classic menu items. Good portion sizes. Can't go wrong with the monthly specials. Really yummy french fries. Original décor makes you feel like your in a time warp. Played old school arcade games while we waited for our food. Staff were super nice. Prices were good. What's not to like.
