The George - Bradford-on-Avon

Popped to the George on a bit of a whim last night after hearing good things. Luckily they had a table for two! From start to finish, our experience was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were lovely and friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing and the food was delicious. We had three courses. I massively recommend the roasted cod!

Called in as we were passing on our way back from the bath xmas market, and really pleased we did...The food was amazing and the staff couldn't do enough for us...we would happily recommend this pub to anyone and everyone..

Quaint English pub with fantastic accomodation. The staff are super friendly and the food is high restaurant grade. A pure gem.

To start, we were treated to complimentary appetizers, including a delicious carrot soup served in an espresso cup. For our starters, we ordered a soufflé and pâté, both of which were outstanding. We were then pleasantly surprised with a complimentary grapefruit sorbet to cleanse our palates. When our main courses arrived, everything was so good that the plates were left spotless! We brought our own cake, so we didn’t order dessert, but the restaurant offered a variety of tempting options that I would have loved to try. Instead, we enjoyed some lovely coffees along with our cake as we finished off our delightful evening by the fire. I cannot recommend this place enough, and I will definitely be back soon.
