This restaurant is a beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy a delicious and affordable meal. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with great ale and a rustic country pub vibe. The staff were very welcoming, especially Phil who directed us to park our van on the lovely grass area. We felt at ease and had no issues. The parking was complimentary as long as we dined at the restaurant. If you're looking for a friendly traditional pub with pickled eggs at the bar, this is the place to go.
