Snackleberry - Bracken Ridge

I took my kids here for lunch as I had heard great things about it. The food is very well priced. Kids meals are only $5 and my fish and chips were $8.50.For the price, the food is really good. Will return for sure. Give this place a try!

Firstly let me pre-empt this by saying I don't like to leave negative reviews but the reviews for this place were so good I thought I'd better share our experience for those who base going somewhere on reviews like we did in trying out this cafe.We grabbed a couple of pizzas for dinner as takeaway. The guy came out after a probably normal amount of time for pizza and said it'd be 5 mins then more than 5 mins later he came out and said they forgot one of our pizzas so here's some free garlic bread and waited another 15 minutes for the pizzas to be ready. Mistakes happen, annoying but what can you do these things happen it seems. The garlic bread was 3 slices of bread loaf with a garlic smear on it burnt around the edges to varying degrees. Not sure what cheese they use but it was oily and salty and not particularly great. Glad to have not paid for it. The pizzas however which we did pay for - and a lot I might add - were terrible. The toppings for the marinara is a seafood mix when I asked to have it without mussels they said it couldn't be done as it was a pre mix. So is packaged, obviously not fresh, seafood. Don't understand why they couldn't even pick out the mussels from being placed on the pizza but anyway what we ended up with was a topping mostly of mussels and onion and a few pieces of fish and loads of cheese. The toppings smothered the base so the dough was still uncooked. This was the same on our second pizza - a hawaiian - uncooked base and speaking of the base it was so weird, like a bread texture not a pizza base. The hawaiian apparently had ham and pineapple but the ham didn't have any flavour at all. I've never encountered anything like it. I knew I was eating some sort of meat because of the texture but there was no flavour and was all completely covered in cheese you couldn't see what was underneath. The pineapple also was barely tasting of pineapple. There was just a bread like uncooked dough with not pleasant, oily cheese absolutely packed ontop. My partner and I had one piece of each and threw them both on the bin. Definitely not going there again. And such a shame cause I'd love to support a good local cafe/ takeaway but that was one very expensive terrible meal.

This was a great experience, a simple toasted sandwich with chips and a coffee. Served with a generous smile a great service. Place is clean and we will go back. Local and brilliant. ????

Ordered ans picked up Fish and Chips and they where great. We will order from there again! They also do other dishes as well as Fish and Chips! We do get our regular order when we are out at Redcliffe!

Can not recommend Snackleberry highly enough. They have such lovely staff who are always bright and bubbly. The food is to die for and the coffee and cake is the best in the area. 10 out of 10!!! Extremely inviting cafe that was not what we were expecting.
