I had my daughter with me and pointed out that she wanted a grilled cheese sandwich that I spoke very clear English, unless they had a brain mist that they clearly heard me and forgot. Read other reviews as it takes too long to make a few sandwiches like half an hour or more. We're coming home to discover that my daughter has no food. This is not even the worst of it, the young uppity white woman with glasses that take my order was extremely rude and prejudice. She clearly has an bias against Italians because, in her dialogue reimbursed with Guinea, she constantly announced words (if you did not know that Guinea is a very detesting ethnic **** against Italians. She didn't treat me so immediately from the driveway, but I was very polite and neutral with her, so that was very unnamed for and such a degrading experience. Especially in a deli where the food is inspired by Italians and Jewish Americans, you would think to treat us just as much as that because your line of work, but she really felt that she was superior to me and never felt so uncomfortable. I called to complain later, and this rude prejudicial treatment continued, that they did not take care of us and how they screwed up the order! Food for thoughts on this worker: There is not something like a superior white ethnic group about another, lose the superiority complex and learn to treat everyone as a like!! This is the problem with Covid today, the virus is not the problem, it is the peoples hate and prejudice, that is the problem! I'll get the Better Business Bureau involved that we're over disgusted!
This is a nice local café with a large menu and a nice pleasant atmosphere. I had the chicken salad and it was really good with some excellent bread for the sandwich. In any case, it is worth checking whether you are in the city! Besides, it is common beside the city, which is beautiful, especially in autumn (I recommend going from here and eating it in the park).
Decor is a small eccentric. Various building materials used and games and books scattered. It looked like it was once old local day care, patched over the years. Oddly, a tad homey. Checkout was sunny and pleasant. The PROBLEM? It took 20-25 minutes to prep a cold ham and cheese and chef salad. And they didn't even start the salad until I first asked about 12-13 minutes in ?com right up!? There was only one person in front of us. We have to go so that we no longer have to wait for the delivery. The food tastes: okay. Not bad, no raves. The cashier offered an apology for the delay of food, that is it. Certainly no warning when we have ordered. CONCLUSION: Go here if you have no major alternatives and you have plenty of time. Much.
This little treasure came looking for a quick bite in Boylston! All we ordered was DELICIOUS, and the service was absolutely wonderful! Will definitely come back when I get in the area!!
Reuben, most of their sandwiches come with Mac salad and pickles. $8.77 including tax. I ordered an Italian sandwich (Corleone) a couple years ago which was pretty good, so gave it another try. Mac salad is pretty good, and nice portion size. Came with a measly 2 slices of pickles. The sandwich was not very good this time around. The pastrami was almost all fat, super chewy and grisly, couldn't even eat some of it. There was too much sauerkraut and not enough meat. The bread was fresh, crisp and delicious. Maybe having an off day but very disappointed with this. 5.4
