I go often to this place, but I have had this problem quite much lately. I asked for a Boba drink and asked it with very less ice. The server made it with full ice and when I mentioned this to her, she took my drink back and removed the ice with her hands without gloves or anything. Then to make the drink whole, she added water in it. It tasted so bad. I ordered another drink without ice and she just left the drink on the counter without announcing or anything. This never used to happen earlier, but lately the staff has been losing that quality and poiltenes.
Used to order from here all the time and have always loved it. Some of the best coffee and bubble tea I’ve found in Boston and staff is always friendly, however the past 5 times I have ordered I have not been happy.I have recently been using door dash services and have placed my preferences on “please contact me if item is unavailable”, however rather than doing so I have been sent any random item in replace of the one I have ordered. This is extremely frustrating because I am paying for something specific that I want; and would rather be notified and choose a second option than be sent something random which often is not to my liking. Why make it an option to be contacted by the store if they fail to do it? The first few times I figured it was just a mistake, and kept ordering with optimism. After this time I’ll probably try to find somewhere else to get my bubble tea. Very disappointing after being a customer for years.
Jaho has one of the best cold brew's in the city. Staff is always friendly, store is always clean, with a wide variety of coffee and food options. The bar is a .Food: 5/5
Been coming to this location for years but they are definitely losing lately regarding customer service, basic hospitality and quality over the last few years.More often than not the cashier is clueless to the names or types of teas on their shelves and worse, they have been charging $1 for additional hot water... not cups... but just hot water. No other restaurant, cafe, or hotel... not even Starbucks pulls such a move.Baked goods have also gone down in freshness.Based on principle alone... after 7 years of support and watching the evolution of this location... albeit a very cute concept cafe... I'm done. Management needs to reevaluate.
