It was something about walking down to the steps and into the bar that brought back memories of watching. Cheers as a child and as an adult on late night television. I know it was a typical tourist thing to do but it's another place and scratch off the list of places to go.
Cheers ? where everyone knows your name..it’s where a group of locals meet to drink, relax, and socialize. This a fun and unique stop when in Boston. We walked around and check out the place, no tours were available when we went and it was free!!
The best chowder I have ever had! But be prepared to spend close to $20 for a bowl- thankfully it is large enough to share. The space is nostalgic and customer service remarkable. There is a gift store upstairs...be sure to grab a mug and hoodie! We did!?
Sat at the bar area as it was busy. Had the Boston Breeze and a mug of chowder. Fun atmosphere. Tv replica bar is upstairs. Gift shop has a variety of items.
Great bar. Bartender was great and very personable. Food was good and beer ice cold. Great place to visit. Prices reasonable and not “commercialized “ because of its fame.
