Red Robin Gourmet Burgers And Brews

Red Robin is a predictable place. You go there knowing what you are going to get. It's like an upscale McDonald's. We enjoyed our food, the wait staff was attentive, but the tabletop kiosk to order other things and pay can be a pain in the arse at times.

I visited with some friends, and my experience was fantastic! Everything was served promptly, and the staff checked in to see if we needed refills or any additional utensils, napkins, or spices. We arrived two hours before closing, and the service was excellent throughout our meal.

There were only about six tables occupied when we visited, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves along with my two granddaughters. We had a wonderful meal accompanied by cocktails, although I was disappointed to find they didn't have any Southern Comfort available. Overall, our meals were excellent, even if the cocktails didn't quite wake me up. I really appreciated the service, especially since we seated ourselves. I know it's tough to maintain staff these days. Thank you for a lovely evening!

A local restaurant is taking the time to honor the 13 individuals killed and injured in Afghanistan, and I truly appreciate that. In my opinion, this place deserves a solid 5-star rating! Typically, restaurants have one standout dish, but everything we tried here was fantastic—from the perfectly cooked burgers to the delicious stews and incredible drinks. One highlight was the Raspberry Cream Soda, which not only tasted great but was also visually appealing with its whipped cream topping. As is common in many restaurants, service was a bit slow at first since there was only one server available when we arrived. However, a second server came on soon after, and from that point, our order was taken and our food arrived quickly. Red Robin offers an amazing selection of gourmet burgers and an impressive array of other dishes!

The location in Bolingbrook is on the hill. We stood 5 minutes before the front, before someone showed up before us (also a few hallo). Our waitress was not very friendly, made us feel that it was an effort for us to be honest. The food was cold when it came out. We ordered more Mac and cheese for our children, I saw it coming and sitting for 10 minutes before it is served (yes our waitress often went past it) but hey we got our bottomless pommes right away. That would be understandable if it was busy, but it was dead, there were 2 other tables where people were sitting. Dessert was not better, it was frozen, it took so long to get through. We didn't even want to talk to a manager, my kids were tired and we didn't want to wait anymore. We decided we didn't go back to the Bolingbrook site.
