Ashbury's At Boughton Ridge

We were the only diners on a Saturday night; that should have been a clew. The background music was way too loud. My wife and I both agreed our entrees were awful. The server was very pleasant however, she made too many mistakes with our order

The outdoor patio is very scenic and relaxing. The shrimp tacos were great. Everyone liked their entrees

We got married at Ashbury's and decided to have dinner there for our first anniversary. We were NOT disappointed. We went at about and practically had the whole place to ourselves. The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We plan on making this a yearly tradition but will probably sneak back more often for their buffalo chicken wrap

Even with reservations we waited minutes to be seated and another before anyone came to our table . The service staff seemed very disorganized. Staff tried to deliver the wrong food to our table and those surrounding us. People next to us leaned over to say that they really liked the food but couldn't ever understand the service. After another long wait where our server kept telling us the kitchen was all backed up our meals were delivered. One was not correct but my husband accepted it because we were afraid it would take too long to get the correct meal. The fish we ordered was excellent perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was all you can eat and we asked for seconds. They only brought seconds to one of us! Again, we decided it was not worth the wait to see IF we might get another plate

Tables were on top of each other. They ran over minutes behind schedule. Our table wobbled and they were reluctant at first to move us. After insisting on speaking to a manager, they moved us to the table by the entrance way, literally inches from the entrance way, but at the point I did not care anymore. The server never even poured our wine, we had to do ourselves. Had the seafood pasta, was fair. My husband ordered the filet, it was good. The service was less than attentive and the service was slow, considering we ordered the special. Also overheard sarcastic remarks about other guest from servers as they entered and exited the dining room. They obviously did not like their jobs. Live music was ok. Would have been nice to have enough room for a dance floor, but they obviously were trying to serve the maximum occupancy. Not sure if this is how they are set up all the time, but I would not go back simply because they have horrible seating arrangements. Not worth the quality of food even at per couple. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for
