After all that effort, I discovered they had no intention of opening at all. I was very disappointed and won't be returning. What a letdown! Instead, I headed to Yoi Tomo Sushi in Boise, and it was delicious—definitely recommend going there instead, friends.
This restaurant has apparently closed down for good, so I recommend not wasting your time visiting. They should update their information to reflect the permanent closure, to prevent others from making the trip.
If you're looking for sushi, I found the fish to have a distinctly fishy taste, reminiscent of frozen products from Walmart's "Canada distributors," and I learned that the owner has trained via YouTube—which is concerning. The noodles had a burnt soy sauce flavor and were completely lacking in taste. I felt incredibly let down after spending so much on a meal that didn't meet my expectations. If you're not particular about your sushi, this place may be acceptable for you. However, if you want quality food, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Good luck!
Ordered takeout, was told an hour... ok that's fine. I show up and hour later and told it's going to be another 30 mins... I get that you're probably short handed but don't tell a customer a certain time period and it be completely way off. It's one thing if it's an additional 10 mins but 30??? You just have no concept of time
What’s not to love about a local restaurant where the food is excellent?Sometimes service can be a bit slow, but it is always worth it.
