His culinary experience includes apprenticing in Germany, as well as working in some of the world's finest kitchens in Switzerland, Australia, as well as in Canada. The menu is European with a focus on using local ingredients. I dined on the chef's chicken special stuffed with brie and maple smoked bacon which was tribute to Canada 150. Very nice! I opted for the traditional German spaetzle and roasted potatoes (half order of each so I could enjoy both a nice offer recommendation from our server). The most memorable part of the meal was the red cabbage. The perfect amount of sweet to bring out the flavour. My dining partner had the same sides but has the pork schnitzel. I had a bite and it was tender and juicy.
Our dream wedding was possible because of this place! Came back here 2 years later to try the Mongolian Grill Night, fabulous food, beautiful atmosphere and over-the-top, excellent service!!
