It is small, so I get that the options are limited, but the long table down the middle doesnt seem to be accomplishing the communal thing, it was just a little awkward. The chairs are folding, and it was a little cold, so overall not the most inviting vibe. The plants are really beautiful though. Now, forget what I just said and go anyway because the food and drinks were great. The server told us they had one of the best smash burgers in the city and he was correct. It was a great burger with crisp edges and just the right amount of cheese balanced by house made pickles. The fries, meh. They were battered fries which just aren 't my favorite thing, but the aioli they came with was excellent. The cauliflower starter was unique and cooked perfectly. The pizza had crispy crust and the sauce was really delicious. Service was prompt and friendly and the drinks were very nice. I will definitely be back.
First time to eat here and was not disappointed. The burger was incredible! The other food I saw looked great too. Highly recommend the food. I'd like to have more beverage options though.
Great space to go have a drink. Drinks taste good bartender very interactive.
Looking for a new place to celebrate our anniversary, we decided on the Outpost Social Club. Being from the west coast the first thing we noticed is that it has a distinctly Portland vibe. Think hipster. The space is small but you can opt to sit in the associated Panther's Place which is a part of the same building but lacks direct access (you have to step outside). That said, your orders from Outpost can be had in Panther's which gives you additional seating and a very different vibe. It's a garden courtyard atmosphere with hanging greenery when in season and a couple fire pits when it's not raining. (Neither of which were applicable during our visit). We opted for the Meet and Greet pizza and it was wonderful. The crusts are hand made daily and it makes a difference you can taste. We also ordered a Bavarian pretzel that came with a side of cheese sauce for dipping. Delish as was the quinoa salad. My wife had a drink and said it was perfection. We were going to add a Smash Burger but too full. So much so that we took some of the pretzel and pizza home. Next time. Definitely next time. There is a lot to love at the Outpost including great service. It's a very fun and inviting place to hang. It is important to note that in it's current form the Outpost is a bar. Nothing wrong with that but again worth noting if you're expecting a sit down dining experience. It does offer one large table to share. Given the delicious food and stellar service the limited space and seating is the only glaring deficit. This place is wonderful as-is but it has potential-plus to be much more and we can't wait. We also can't wait to get back for those Smash Burgers. And breakfast. And pretty much everything else on the menu including the quinoa salad. The Outpost is a work in progress and one you don't want to miss. Trust me. Now go!!
Had the Margarita Pizza it was excellent, great atmosphere, service, and friendly people.
