I didn’t have time for them to remake it so I took a bite of steak and it was horrible ran to bathroom and threw up . Then they over charged me . Horrible service, nasty food and this place has gone way way down hill !! Waitress did not even apologize! Wouldn’t get manager when I asked ! WARNING DO NOT EAT HERE !! Drive the extra time to Tucson !!
Love this place always and Stephanie is such a great waitress, we have always enjoyed everything here! Thank you for everything for our special occasions!!!
For a Sunday night, atmosphere was lovely, food was excellent although unsure of the freshness of the cooking oil used for the tempura.
My husband and i make a trip every year to celebrate our special occasions. But,i really have to say last night. I was blown away with such an incredible waitress, We had by the name of Stephanie! She is everything a waitress is suppose to be and she was spectacular!!! The best ever hands down!!! I hope this place really takes care of her. She is truly a Diamond! Thank you so much Stephanie! I dont think i can ever thank her enough, for the perfect night we had. All because of this wonderful young lady and waitress, she was to us. We definitely can't wait to go back to have her again! Teppanyaki Chef was great and food was delicious. Our waitress was subpar. Never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks and brought my sushi when I was finished eating. We ordered the sushi at the same time as those we shared our table with. I'm not sure why our sushi came well after theirs. My guess is she forgot to give the sushi chef the order.UPDATE:Went back again in February 2024, and the service was horrible! My husband and a friend sat way behind the chef, cooking our food. My husband ordered steak, scallops, and lobster. He was served a very small portion of steak, one scallop, and no lobster. The 2 children with the other group at our table got healthy servings of all 3 of those items.When we said we would not pay for his meal, we we told we would be charged for a steak dinner. I told them he didn't even get the amount of steak in a steak dinner. They then charged us for a child steak dinner. Which, by the way, wasn't the amount of steak the children were served. We were told the kitchen ran out of lobster and scallops. Which is probably why our table had more fried rice than I've ever seen at a Teppanyaki table. We will never be back to Hana Tokyo when we visit the area!
