Venetos Cucina Italiana - BLD Oceanside

Lasagna was the best I've ever had. Feels like a true Italian restaurant. Service was very attentive.

I don’t understand the reviews that say this place is amazing. The garlic knots were the best thing here. The food was not as good as large chains. Over priced and they charge to split plates. I don’t plan to go back. There’s better food in Oceanside.

It's very unique in that you can mix and match the pastas however you want. Me and my friend devoured everything and they were very tolerate of her strange cravings(she's pregnant), they even gave her a bowl of lemons to go, lol, and they gave me a rose.

Fish, noodles, Lasagne, Tiramisu all very good. Absolut recommendation.

Sadly this experience was not a good one. The food was mediocre bread and garlic knots tasted old and stale. Caprese was bland and didn’t taste fresh. And I ended up getting ill from something. The service was slow and particular. While we were greeted in a friendly manner, our server made weird remarks and argued with us about what we asked for. Seems they’re sort of set in their ways? For the price, I would def not recommend this spot.
