Yarborough House - Bishop'S Castle

Wow! I must say I totally agree with John Gilchrist.

If you don't feel like cooking this is a good place to go right on 16th in the Bowness area.

Found this gem hidden off 16th Avenue by Bowness and recently dropped in for lunch..

An interesting combination of music and bookstore and a small coffee house. the regale are always filled with interesting and carefully categorized books, cds and plates. the caffe is small and cozy, served tees, coffees and small cakes (usually tablet bakers). the prices are reasonable and service fast and friendly.

I have to explain to the owners an interest as a son-in-law, but yarborough house is really a nice place to browse second-hand books and classic cds and enjoy a cuppa and cake, convenient in the vicinity of other interesting shops and pubs.
