The countryside can't be faulted, the play area is good, but the visitors centre is closed what a waste the farm is closed with no animals, just the horses from the stables out. This site is missing g out on such alot if footfall because if that, but still worth the lovely walks. Does have picnic tables available.
It's OK if you go take your litter home do not dump it in the woods , as it can harm animals and the environment, so much litter of late
Lovely little place however the farm is a little run down. Still a great place to go, lovely short walks, picnic area and park and then the very small farm part is only £1.50 per adult entry. Great to go if your local or staying around a while however we could have chosen better places to spend our day considering we live 3 hours away.
Nothing special, best part was seeing the horses (even then, they looked very unwell). We tried to follow the route on the government website but half the route wasn't accessible as bushes were overgrown etc. They could do with coloured arrows pointing you in the direction of each route. Visitor centre was also closed and couldn't find the urban farm. People general unfriendly, I thought it would be fairly civilised but turns out we walked right into chav city.
