Shu Shop - Birmingham

I’m new to the area and have never been here before. From recent reviews, I was expecting to encounter a rude greeter or server but I was craving ramen so I went. Not only were the people nice, the ramen was good too. Check out places to form your own opinion! We’ll be back thanks!

One of my favorite hidden gems in Birmingham! I love going here after a long day of work. Nothing is more comforting than a nice hot bowl of ramen and a nice drink. If you are able, get here and get the crab claws. They go quick so get here early!

Love the Shu Shop. The food is delicious (especially the seafood ramen. Be prepared to pay more for good food and for really strong drinks. My only complaint is last time I went there on a date, the music was so loud we couldn't hold a conversation.

The Shu Shop has a smallish and delicious menu. This is one of my favorite places to eat before catching a show at the Lyric or Alabama Theatres. My husband loved the vegetarian ramen option and I enjoyed the braised short ribs small plate.We have eaten here several times in the past and the food and drinks have been good every time.Please note, in my opinion, the Shu Shop is a bar with awesome food. The place has more of a bar feel than a restaurant feel. Although, I typically go for the food.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: Not a kid-friendly environment.
