Was recommended to go here by Julie from George’s Hotel, who booked a table for me as she said it was popular and boy she got that right! They don’t seem to have a printed menu but with the very friendly greeting (in English! they run through the meal options for that night. An unusual but rather a good idea and the duck I ordered arrived extremely quickly, a factor I’m sometimes suspicious of but if they only have four options it’s not too difficult to achieve. The duck was excellent and huge portion with fries and a lovely salad, needless to say I didn’t want a dessert! Quite noisy inside, it was pouring with rain on my visit so no outside eating! The music I would say was 1970/80 era and a lot of “artefacts” around including an old juke box and vinyl records stuck to the ceiling, worth a visit if you’re into that sort of thing.
Friendly welcoming staff, lovely cosy and warm atmosphere just a cool place to have a few drinks, food a little limited.
Visited Cafe Miguel for a few beers. Great atmosphere with a good mix of local and tourist clientele. Staff were efficient. Nice outside balcony area to sit and enjoy the 'craic '. Place itself is decorated in an old french style and is clean. Would definitely call again if in the area.
Very friendly place with a good ambience....probably due to its popularity.....had beer and tapas, both of which were good, although I thought the tapas was slightly more than I was expecting, but still had a nice time
