The Lakehouse - Bewdley

Once again we were not disappointed. The food and atmosphere was great. We brought friends and they were also very impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a beautiful meal and lovely setting.

One of the best restaurants I have been to in a very long time. I don’t eat out a lot because I find myself often disappointed in the quality and flavour of food. My parents visited this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago and wanted to share it with us. We went yesterday and what an experience Our background is Greek but my mom insisted on having the chicken souvlaki and Greek potatoes. It was a huge portion but more importantly, the chicken was plump, tender and so flavourful. There were 6 of us and everyone was beyond happy with their choices. We took our fur baby on the patio and he was so loved and they even offered him a bowl of water (although we brought our own). Anitha, one of the owners, has the most amazing memory. She remembered so many details about my mom and dad’s first visit. So special and rare We will definitely be back for the amazing food, people, and the beautiful view of Rice Lake

We waited for over an hour for our food. We decided to leave because we were told twice that it would be ready 'soon', without any indication of how much longer it would take. The people at the table next to us even asked if we had ordered something special, but it was just two sandwiches with fries! The restaurant was only a quarter full, but the kitchen seemed overwhelmed. This was our third time trying this restaurant and the service has always been slow, but this was the first time we got fed up and left. We do not recommend this place unless you have time to kill.

I am Celiac and the choices are numerous. On Wednesday, April 12/th, I chose a Greek Salad for lunch, and it was delicious with a great presentation. My friend is not Celiac and he said his meal, a Wrap, was excellent. Friendly service, great hospitality, all in beautiful Bewdley, Ontario.
