While enjoying Berwick today, and in particular Perfect Blend, I felt as if a small piece of Owego had floated downstream and taken root here. While Berwick may not have the Riverwalk, nor as many shops as Owego has – It does have the same youthful creative spirit and love of community. One big plus for Berwick is its Art Alley! I will attach photos. Perfect Blend itself is wonderfully decorated with eclectic art work – you have to see their ceiling ! They have a wonderful assortment of hot and cold drinks and a good lunch menu, including numerous salads which the locals recommended highly. While there today I enjoyed a bowl of Lobster Bisque with my Chai Latte – very good ! While Berwick is a bit out of my way, I had visited Perfect Blend previously. On that occasion, they passed what I like to call the “Plate Test” with flying colors. Sitting near me was a table of six Moms – some with children in tow, and one with a toddler on her lap. The toddler picked up her mother’s plate and it dropped to the floor. It shattered loudly, pausing the gentle murmur of conversation. The friendly staff breezed in unsummoned and cleaned up. Making everyone feel at ease and welcome – with kind assurances that all was well. Such good people. Perfect Blend Espresso More – come enjoy the goodness. I also have to give a shout out the framers market shop next door – “Beyond the Blend “ It has an adjoining door to the coffee shop. At the coffee shop I happened to make a new friend, Karen. Among many other community activities she also takes a turn running the farmers market shop. She kindly offered to show me the shop even though they were not open yet. I bought some amazing local fresh peaches – wow ! My visit to Berwick was very enjoyable. I think you’d like it too. Blessings.
Great coffee, atmosphere and service! Found this place by accident. Will definitely visit again. Love these local shops. So much character.
I live in Wisconsin and whenever we are in town to visit family we make sure we stop here at least once for breakfast! Great food, great people, and definently the coolest interior design I've seen for a cafe. 10/10
This is a great little café to meet friends for lunch or take a quick drink. The atmosphere is covered and eclectic and the staff is really friendly! I would definitely recommend this place! May I suggest the spinach and feta soup and a white hot chocolate!
This is the place where I like to be regularly. My favorite aspect of this restaurant is the eclectic artwork on any surface, even the ceiling! The mix and match, unique dishes, cups and dishes, comfortable chairs and the sun flowing through the window really A Perfect Blend a welcoming, homely atmosphere, but have to visit MY schedule around her to fit around her around takes away from this. The search for local-sourced food in the connected market was great. The prices are steep for simple fare and the takeout chips are served in sandwich bags. We have changed our order to go after the realization that we have to eat in a hurry before noon and I hacked my drink. I hope to relax again with more time and enjoy the coffee!
