Ignore the commercialism of other restaurants this is a local family owned concern that concentrates on good value, good quality, wholesome Spanish food.It has recently been refurbished and now presents as a restaurant that offers al fresco dining away from the busy thoroughfare.Do you want to experience the warmth of Spanish people in a Spanish environment?If yes, then give this restaurant a try.

We visited this restaurant today for lunch and unfortunately had to leave as there was one waiter who was extremely rude and unaccommodating to the fact we had a baby in a pushchair and needed a bigger table, there was a larger table for 4 people that was empty and rather than offer us that he shrugged his shoulders at us when we asked if we could sit there. Also one waiter was looking after 7 tables, we didn’t receive our menus or were asked for drinks until 20 minutes into our visit. Unfortunately due to the attitude of the waiter we decided to leave and have lunch elsewhere. Very disappointing as the reviews for the food originally brought us to this restaurant.

Five of us turned up for lunch. Benahavis was very quiet with some restaurants closed. Was a little unsure when we arrived at the restaurant as welcome was a little cold. However, we soon discovered that the food more than made up for this. Tapas style but portions were huge. Chose five different dishes to share between us. More than enough. Food was fresh and well cooked. Would return again. A little gem of a restaurant for good, honest home cooked food at a reasonable price.

People usually take a seat outside mostly when you cannot get a seat outside Chicos opposite however very nice Bar in its own right very pleasant service top quality drinks very reasonably priced. Very nicely decorated Terrazza May try the Tapas next time.
