Fish fry! many thanks karen fuller for the recommended. last Friday for the first time. will be (and again)!

Took 1 hour and 15minutes to get our to go order! A couple that came in a half an hour after us placed their order and got it and were almost done eating before we got our order. Then the wings were barely done. Will never give my business to this establishment again!!!!!!!! Will go to the Stillwater instead.

I love the food, even tonight the food was good with one exception to the setting! And it’s as follows. So I took the time tonight and I went to Belfast hotel to have a fish fry and I did just that. I was just a wee bit early and got there before the regular waitress comes in and when I was almost done a young family came in and young girl that was waiting on them started to go to the kitchen door and tell the waitress on guard what was happening with the customers that were there. As the young waitress filled her in and got the 5 o’clock guard up to speed or whatever you wanna call it, she said” I’ll get them they’re fine they can wait “, I looked at another table, a mom and her daughter that sat there and I thought, wow she must be having a bad day! Then it came time to pay and the lady with her daughter , they had to argue about their bill and I thought well I’ll just wait and see what happens with mine, so mine came, it’s a plain Jane fish fry broiled $17.95 almost $18 and it should’ve been much less according to the first lady that waited on me so anyways I asked the guard, last one that came on guard duty anyways how much fish fries are and she said his 1095 . Us two customers couldn’t have decided to pay at a better time. I had a fish fry which gets 2 sides and mine because of food allergy I only had mashed potatoes and a side salad which were to be my two sides. She wrote $13.95 plus soup and salad bar and my Pepsi So she turned 1395 into $17.95 so I said so then its wrong then she said I don’t know I didn’t write it out with her ever so nice tone of voice so I explained to her what the Fish gets two sides I had a side salad and mashed potato because I couldn’t have the other stuff she said I don’t know it’s right that’s where it is it’s the same price no matter what,,,,, soooooo, I said OK . She said just forget it in a so familiar tone of voice so I gave her the money, my $20.00 bill. She leaves with the 20, comes back and she set the change down on the table, I said have a good night , she said “your change”, I said “no, apparently you need it more than I do you just screwed me for the fish dinner! you have a good night last time I’ll be here, so the guard said “what was wrong “ I said maybe when you come in and told the younger waitress that started to wait on the young family with the kids, I’ll get them, they can wait “ and that family heard you, and then they asked you about wings and obviously you didn’t know if they could get them tonight because you stomped to the kitchen door, threw the menus on the stand by the phone and marched into the kitchen pissing in moaning about it! I said nothings wrong have a wonderful night. Sorry kids, just my rant on a shitty Friday night.

The food is so good here! Their fish frys are excellent and the desserts are great! Would love to eat here more often.

Definitely a great place to eat. Loved it and everyone was very friendly.
