Saphyre - Belfast

We had the 5 course tasting menu. Very disappointed £50 each and still hungry after. We have tried Ox, six by nico and river room galgorm tasting menus and never been hungry. Found that even flavours were not good either. Food and cost is over rated. Very disappointed.

Duck over cooked but service was fantastic. Chips too greasy and garnish with my Duck had no flavour.

Visited on a Friday for lunch. My second visit and an ok experience. Service was good attentive and professional. Surroundings are opulent but atmosphere was a bit dull quiet and soulless. The food whilst tasty was not of the standard I have had in other fine dining restaurants. It was, in my opinion, a bit overpriced and did not represent value for money.

An entirely deeply satisfying experience, one to be repeated.

I love the tasting menu of this restaurant, it wont disappoint me every time
