Haha Vegan Ryokan - BEECHWORTH

We had a fantastic and peaceful weekend at the ryokan, thanks to the warm and generous hospitality from Rico and Ossie. They went above and beyond, even inviting us to relax in their garden and sampling some of their homemade products. We were treated to two special and lovingly prepared dinners at their home by Chef Ossie, while enjoying their company and listening to their stories. Rico took great care of us throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place.

Highly recommended! We stayed in a spacious and clean guest house for a week, surrounded by Rico and Osi's lovely vegetable garden. Rico and Osi prepared delicious vegan Japanese dishes at night using fresh ingredients from their garden, ensuring we were never hungry.

We had a weekend trip for a night in beechy, were in the ryokan guesthouse and enjoyed delicious eating hosted by osi and rico so friendly and welcoming people! the surrounding gardens in the guest house are beautiful and peaceful, and eating was exceptional so much variety and definitiw did not leave hunger, so much eat. fantastic value for money. the okonomiyaki was a favorite, but the whole food was delicious. they also delivered homemade roggenbrot, homemade hommus and tomaten from their garden for our breakfast, as well as a large top plate and a mixer to make smoothies. highly recommended! I wish we remembered to make photos of the food, but we were too busy to enjoy it updated by previous review on 2022-02-03

Beautiful guest house in Beechworth. The historic town of Beechworth is just a 15 minute walk away. You can also walk to Lake Sambell to go for a swim when it's hot. There are plenty of things to do in the area. And it's such a treat to have Chef Osamu make a special dinner for you! Hosts, Rico and Osamu are lovely!
