It was my first time at this restaurant, but being I'm from Beaufort, I'll stop by the next time I'm home. I had the wings and fries. The wings are smoked, then fried and quite flavorful. The fries were amazing. My wife had a seafood platter consisting of fish, shrimp, and fries. The fish was a little too fresh for her liking, but hey, that's Beaufort. Nevertheless, she did enjoy it. The only reason I'm giving this restaurant an overall four stars instead of five, it was between shift change, and it took a little longer for the servers to get it together. There were times we had 3 different servers at our table. Don't get me wrong, good customer service, but just a little mix-up at the beginning. Check out Q on the Bay.
We had burnt ends as an appetizer and they were DELICIOUS Parking: There is a pair parking lot about 2 blocks over from this restaurant. Kid-friendliness: The staff was inviting, friendly, and patient with my 3 kids.
Picked up take out.. great service great food.. only minor complaint was the salad dressing was forgotten ..
Typical what you expect from Beaufort establishments. Nothing but pure laziness and an overall lack of enthusiasm. They stay consistent that's for sure, when they hire people that must be one of the attributes or the lack there of, that they require.... Parking: Almost non-existent, durning regular business hours, parking is extremely difficult to acquire.....
We got the barnyard dish to try it all. The BBQ ribs, pulled pork and chicken were good. The burnt ends were overdone and too fatty, the bread points with it were burnt. The brisket was mostly fat and hardly any meat plus no bark on it like most briskets do. Skip the baked beans, tasteless (how can that be when you're a BBQ place?? Throw some sauce and meat in them! The collard greens were very good. Probably would not go back.
