Big John's Barbecue - Bear

Stopped by on a whim. Ordered a pork BBQ sandwich with the sweet and spicy Alabama sauce. These guys are the real deal and super friendly. Food tastes great and filled me up. Sauce was great. Will definitely hit this place up again!

We've tried a good amount of barbecue places. And this is my favorite! The pulled pork was tender with great bark and smoke flavor. The ribs were tender with great flavor as well. The green beans are spicy, which we loved. We will definitely come back!

First time. Found on social. Owner greeted my family and I.Had pulled pork sandwich, mac and cheese, green beans and baked beans. My wife had the smoke chicken sandwich. Mind you it's our Friday night date night. It was all good

I went to BIG John's on Saturday 6/18/22 and got the wings. It was my first time so I decided to start off small. When I say, I got home and ate about 5wings, I was smilin. They tasted great and the mild BBQ sauce was phenomenal. First time again with mustardbased sauce. I will be going back to try beef ribs and brisket. Check it out????????

So I just made an order from Grubhub. First half of my order was missing. The part of my order that I did was receive was the Beef rib platter, smoked wings, and peach cobbler. The rib was on the dry side, the Mac and cheese was mostly noodles and very dry. The potatoes in the potato salad were over cooked. The taste was bland and it was warm. The wings were pretty good and the peach cobbler was very tasty. I doubt I will finish the rib platter. I am very disappointed by the food. I was looking forward to trying this food bc of all the great reviews it had online. This will probably be the last time I make an order from here especially seeing as though the food is very pricey.
