I recently visited Hillery's for the first time and I was incredibly impressed. Rashon provided outstanding service, greeting me with a big smile and being very friendly and helpful. The rib tips were simply delicious and everyone in my group thoroughly enjoyed them.
The staff was incredible, and the food was incredible, oh my goodness! Our first BBQ experience in Chicago was absolutely mind-blowing!
Smoked beef brisket sandwich was aweful. It was more like smoked beef jerky. It is wasn't fresh at all. Tuff meat as if it was warmed over from the day before in the microwave. I called when I got home using the phone number listed here, the recording said the number you have reached is not a working number.
What in the actual heck? I ordered a catfish sandwich, rib rips and two orders of okra. Gentleman rings us up, and then tells me they were out of okra so he gave us hish puppies instead for free. No catfish sandwich. Only.got rib tips, fries and free his puppies. I used to love this place. But you do NOT tell a customer you are out of something after ringing their order up, dude, then also not include the catfish sandwich we ordered. Bill was 11.95 after we tried to order like 45 bucks worth of food. What in the actual fu# just happened?
