Tarboosh - Bayonne

Tarboosh is family owned and family operated. I went here once when I first moved to Bayonne and then again when I found out that it was owned and operated by one of my students and his family. The food is exceptionally good and the owner and his sons are wonderful people who deserve your patronage. They are likely to have the best choice for the Middle Eastern cuisine in Bayonne and they offer later night meal for people during the holy month. Eat here without delay.

Tarboosh weeks ago. We have the Lamb Shish Kabob Platter the Chicken Shawarma Platter. Everything was so subtle, but beautifully spiced. It came to share with additional Pita bread in a basket for us. We also wanted extra garlic sauce. I had this beautiful drink from here that I forgot to click a picture of Licorice Iced Tea was red in color and had a nice refreshing taste. Didn't I?authentic? But Lebanese taste. The service is good, but food took a lot of time, although not crowded. Pita, garlic sauce came to the end of our meal. As if we could really enjoy everything together because of these small delays. Overall, the food is good and a place I would definitely visit again.

I've eaten at a lot of Lebanese/Turkish restaurants in my time and I have to say that this one takes 1st place amongst them all. Everything I ate was spot on delicious and kept me wanting more. The establishment does not look like much from the outside but let me tell you, there is some serious magic going on in that kitchen. This is one of those hole in the wall places that will always deliver. The staff are the most friendly I've ever encountered. They took care of us from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Always asking if we are okay, if we need anything, how the food is. We dug in to the mix grill platter for dinner. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The rice was to die for, and that garlic sauce, woooooooo. OMFG that garlic sauce is like an addictive drug. I highly recommend giving this place a visit and plan on staying for more that an hour. Yes, the food is that good. And if you get the chance, hit up the fridge and try that lemon mint soda. It was so good I bought a case from them. They will definitely be seeing me again.

I'm a great Mediterranean food fan and that's one of the best kebabs plates I've ever eaten in this area. I came to the restaurant late, but the owner was very accommodating. The meat was well marinated and cooked. You can taste the ulcers and the beats of meat on the outside while you are juicy on the inside. The restaurant was also clean with a traditional aura. Would highly recommend. 10/10

The Tabouleh is too dry as if they had not put olive oil on this note if someone is looking for a good Arabic restaurant, go south Paterson not waste your time
