The Red Pump Inn & Restaurant

This place exceeded our expectations! We came here for lunch - which was lovely - and ended up actually checking out of the Little Inn and moving here. The suites are all very unique and charming. Owner was an interior decorator and there are interesting areas all throughout the property. The food is absolutely amazing! John, the manager, has a great selection of wines, and we loved enjoying a bottle of Rose on the back patio near the fountain overlooking the stunning gardens. The service was fantastic. We loved Elisabeth and Barbara the inn keeper. When we arrived in our room there was a fresh bouquet of Shasta daisies and our continental breakfast in the fridge. Great European style coffee right in your room. Awesome bed. Awesome claw foot tub that I had to try out. We had suite #6 with a balcony view of the hustle and bustle of the street and it was delightful. We will be back!!

We visited The Red Pump for dinner on July 22, 2017. We have visited The Red Pump many times over the years and we have been impressed always. This occasion was no exception. Our server, Jackie, was outstanding; she created a wonderful dining experience. The food matched the service. Four of us had different appetizers and entries, and all creations were delicious. The menu offers something to please everyone. The wine selection was very good. The meal was topped off with a selection of house-made desserts. Our table selection was the carrot cake which we unanimously recommend. If you're looking for a intimate casual fine dining experience near Bayfield, then The Red Pump is a great choice.

My husband and I have enjoyed many lunches at the Red Pump and have never been disappointed and this time was no exception. Our meals were fantastic and the presentation was truly delightful. The service is always great and our server Anne is so sweet. This is one of our favorite destinations!

I hesitated to dine at The Red Pump due to the many poor reviews but am glad I decided to try it anyways. First to note is this is a very nice restaurant, the dining room is clean with a great ambiance and the service was impecable. Food came out at a comfortable pace and quality was excellent. I had the Miso Salmon and it was cooked perfectly, as good as it gets. Highly recommend dining here.
