They took care to put idlingers for them at the reception!!!!!, on the other hand, to the rooms no!!!!!Here the scandal!!!! you are sure to be awake from 6:30 in the morning because American and English are in the care of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and you can go out and make them understand that you want to sleep !!!!! then I go down to inform the hostess who answers : ah I can't but of course!!! then why the fire-cut door is closed? ah because there was a fire alarm, ma'am? Ah reassuring all that? and we haven't been informed? and you know themselves are people who have sworn so they are firm in their gestures ah ok!!!! so hotel to flee! the swimming pool a bathtub 1m40 deep the people of the hotel next to whom is a 3-star bath come to bathe! So the mass is said! cleaning woman at 9:10 a.m. on Saturday so for couples from 20 to 60 not worth it! a good note for the breakfast but it is also elsewhere with the well being assured! I work the week on the weekend I hope to rest!
We came here twice during our short stay in bayeux. we enjoyed delicious cuisine, excellent wine and a very friendly service. a relaxing atmosphere.
We had booked a room at the Grand Hotel in Luxembourg for a couple weekend for one night (from Saturday 11 February 2017 to 12 February 2017). the hotel has offered us to book a table for dinner, which we did when we saw the menu alleviating (minus flavor to 39€). However, we arrived at 8:05 for a reservation at 8:00. We waited 20:45 for the waiter (the only male staff in the room tonight) to come to our table and give us a few seconds of his time so valuable to take our order. During this time, we had the right to the show given by this individual (laughing menus on the buffet, harassment of the other two waitresses, bad faith, no discretion in the kitchen, which makes all the people in the room able to hear the perpetual upheavals he was doing). for clarity here is the detail of the menu and our appreciation: - verrine served with aperitif (fashion and tasteless) - slice of foie gras accompanied by a raspberry gastric (good but without research). - veal medallion accompanied by seasonal vegetables ( pieces of badly chosen meat, with too many present fat accompanied by rice really carry-picked much too cooked and some spinach leaves just cooked to water and deposited next to the medallion without forgetting the wonderful endive cooked to water and braised on the inside completely fade.)- normand hole (not served but paid !!!!) without forgetting the absence of whipped yet seen in the plate of another table) Where are the other red fruits?!! (can be this day.)- perfect for pineapple and green lemon: simply a green lemon ice with 5-6 poor pineapple lamelles in the middle and so hard that we would have taken this dessert for a hockey palet.So in summary, for a menu at 39€ per person, it really isn't worth them at all!! Especially with the 90 year presentation that the chef proposes and the mediocrity of the desserts executed by their attendant (they heard in the kitchen boast of the work provided and mocking totally customer reviews). Came with a gift check wonder box, I had a very good phone and physical welcome.Excellent dishes and good desserts. A great deal on the room that I find a little dark and a slightly obsolete decoration (floor model especially).
