Philly Me Up - Baton Rouge

I ordered two cheesesteaks and a kids' meal for over $30, and I found the kids' meal to be overpriced. One of the sandwiches was loaded with toppings, while the other was lacking. The flavor of the sandwiches was good, but the fries were not fresh and the portion size was very small. Flavor is only one-fourth of the overall dining experience. To earn a four-star rating, they would need to lower their prices and increase portion sizes. For a five-star rating, they need to improve their fries. The service was excellent, which earns them a star. The good flavor gives them another star. Timely, friendly, and clean service adds yet another star. However, the value and serving size were disappointing. If you're a cheesesteak lover, you might want to give it a try, but I would recommend skipping the fries!

Definitely one of the best Philly cheesesteaks I've ever had! I tried the Cajun version, which included grilled steak, grilled onions, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, and Tony Chachere’s seasoning. All the flavors blended together perfectly. Voodoo has definitely made it onto my list!

It took 23 minutes to get our cheesesteaks, which I think is reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. The meat was perfectly diced and plentiful. I would even pay extra for double meat! While they don't offer a huge variety of sandwiches, I don't think they need to. You can't go wrong with any option, whether it's a classic cheesesteak, chicken cheesesteak, or even their Hoagie cheesesteak. My wife tried the Hoagie and said it was just as amazing as her regular cheesesteak. With a blend of sweet and hot paprika, banana peppers, and various cheeses enhancing the already fantastic sandwich, you truly can't go wrong here. This is an excellent clean efficient sandwich shop with philly steak subs. if you want one of the best cheese steak subs, this is a must. Really nice friendly service, although they all work efficiently and little time for chatter. I saw all 5 behind the counter as a team and well oiled machine. best is the quality of their sandwiches....a selection that they can add to the subway. all grilled right in front of them....love it!

This is my favorite philly cheese steak place since I tried it in 2005. in the average, I probably eat here once a week. eating is great. everyone who works there is always pleasant to treat. the owners are great people. I recommend this place to everyone and look forward to eating here many years.
