The Boathouse - Bath

We passed by this restaurant several times while traveling, but we never stopped. This time, while we were away for Christmas, we decided to take the opportunity to dine there for our Christmas dinner. We were not disappointed! The venue was beautiful with great views. The food was very well prepared and served. I’d like to commend the staff who were working that day; despite the busy holiday season, they were cheerful, engaging in conversation, and very helpful when we asked for recommendations on places to visit. They truly contributed to a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you so much!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, featuring a cozy log burner that adds to the ambiance. Although we visited in the evening and couldn't fully appreciate the view of the river, it still created a lovely atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. They offer a separate vegan menu with a wide variety of options for all courses. We tried the crushed burger and spaghetti, followed by chocolate orange torte and tropical fruits. While the vegan dishes weren't the best we've ever had, they were still quite delicious. The desserts were fantastic! I would definitely visit again.

We visited this restaurant twice at the start of our relaxing vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff was fantastic, and the food was beautiful. We loved having an early breakfast while enjoying the stunning view from our room, which was simply perfect. The balcony was amazing too. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Very pleasant stay, great location. very interesting (and tasty) breakfast menu. beautiful furnished rooms. very attentive and friendly staff. would definitely go back. I thought the room was overpriced.

I just wanted to say thank you to our waitress Amy. She was absolutely amazing. Our table of 6 which included 2 little children plus a dog was a handful but Amy was on it!! Friendly, helpful and always with a smile. Don’t let her go!
