Cafe S. F. Xavier - Bastora

This was once a famous place to eat especially on the Friday mapusa days. I have been visiting this place since my childhood days. Not a single table was empty. This trip round our experience was bleak. We ordered beef croquettes and chops . The beef croquettes were passable tasteless. The chops were awesome. To quench our thrist we had a virgin Lagoon and falooda , the falooda was too good as usual. For main course we had egg and prawn fried rice and golden fried squids. Both the fried rice was bland no taste. The squids were ok. For dessert most of the items which were on the menu wasn't available so we had to settle for black forest pastry and brownie, the brownie was heated in the microwave came piping hot and ended up burning my tongue due to the hot pockets in the brownie. The heating wasn't uniformed. Overall experience was very disappointing Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

I have eaten here twice and my first experience was good i had tried the biryani here it was the good average biryani, the second time i had fish thali here , so for me atleast I didnt like the taste of curry and they gave too much of kismoor overall very average thali , only their service was good imo Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
