It’s disheartening to see this kind of business behavior becoming more common. For those who haven't eaten all day and face rejection from two eateries, it's downright cruel. When a business is willing to lie to a customer's face, you have to wonder what other dishonest practices they might be engaged in. What kind of service are they really providing to people?
If you're considering working here, proceed with caution. If you’re not a fan of the place and it’s not on your favorites list, you might find yourself out of luck. There seem to be persistent issues that affect customers, which might be by design. The checkers seem poorly managed, and the turnover rate is astonishingly high. Rude interactions are common, both from the staff and even from the owner towards the team, which contributes to a lack of discipline. They often close early because they struggle to manage their employees yet expect top-notch performance while paying bottom dollar. It's a revolving door for new hires, which explains the constant issues at the restaurant. While I understand that desperate times call for desperate measures, keep in mind that, for the management, this is just business. They aren't concerned about your well-being or personal circumstances; they only care about filling positions to keep the operation running. It appears that the owner has a closer relationship with the female staff and engages in various activities at the restaurant, which might create an uncomfortable atmosphere for some.
I enjoyed my meal, as always. My companion had never eaten at Checkers before and was surprised by how delicious everything was, especially the spiced fries. There was a mix-up with our order, but the manager handled it perfectly when I mentioned how much I appreciated the food at Checkers. She was excellent!
Before two weeks my wife tried the new stripes and loved them, I got a burder, everything was in order. next week we ordered the strips and I ordered Mozarella sticks with mine. the chicken was burned to the point of incompatibility and the mozarella sticks were empty of cheese. They replaced them, but not happy about it. Last night she came back and got a spicy chicken and it was as if they forgot to put chicken in him, it was almost flat and hard as a rock and was thrown away. that ends our try in this restaurant.
Waiting in line for 30 minutes for the car in front of me to get food, then I’m told that they are closed 10 minutes before closing time. I was yelled at by employees because apparently there is a button that shuts everything down 10 minutes before closing. The staff a very disrespectful and should of come out and let the cars know that they are closed.
