The Tudor Cafe - Barrow-in-Furness

The set menu at this restaurant was not good at all, with everything covered in flavorless gravy that even dogs wouldn't eat. Save your money and avoid this place.

I ordered a Salt and Pepper box for 9.50 and also purchased Curry sauce and Szechuan Sauce. The Salt and Pepper box had an overwhelming amount of sodium and very little pepper flavor. The excessive salt made the food inedible, making it my first and last time trying the dish. The addition of carrots in the box was unexpected. The Curry sauce was delicious as usual, but unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy it fully because the Salt and Pepper box was too overpowering and attacking my body too quickly.

The service was top-notch, the delivery was quick, and the food was absolutely delicious!

I had fish and chips tonight that were the best I've had in a long time. The white fish was lovely and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this dish.

I haven't had chips this good in a long time! They were not greasy at all. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Thank you!
