Good manners are not at home. We go in for an aperitif, we ask if it was possible to have a table for three, but there were two of us and the third person would have joined us within about twenty minutes. The room manager tells us that until the third person showed up she wouldn 't be able to make us sit, and to wait standing. We wait at the entrance in disbelief, when another couple enters the room; When asked by the very nice room manager how many people there were, I replied that there were two of them, so she motioned for him to take a seat. At that point the couple points out that we were there first, but she still replies undaunted: No, the two of them are waiting . At that point we politely say goodbye and leave, probably without ever setting foot there again. Very bad
