Grateful Ed’s Bbq - Barbourville

The barbeque is cooked low and slow and delicious. Highly recommend the pulled pork. Brisket was lean and cut in cubes, not slices but tender. The atmosphere was a bit bare but functional. Too bad there is no band on weekends because it would be a fun place to dance and spend time with friends. The restaurant brings a hip vibe to a charming city square. Well worth the visit. Food: 5

Vacationing from Ohio. Staying in Cumberland Gap area. Drove over 20 minutes for them to be closed at 12:42 in the afternoon. Very disappointed. Web said they were open.

A decent place with a plentiful menu. I was not a fan of the BBQ, BUT there are other options available. I would eat here again, but the BBQ just seems to be missing something. Again, plenty of options. the staff was EXTREMELY friendly and professional and made the meals. We had a good time here and the bar area has decent selections. the dining area and restrooms were always clean and orderly. Parking area across the street is dimly lit but safe. I would eat here again.
