Cindy's Café Coffee House - Baraboo

We really liked this place last year but today it was not good. They used to have a daily menu with a sandwich special soup potatoe salad. Simple but good. Now they have premise sandwich in a glass case. Whole kitchen grill etc but they don't cook. There were baked treats and coffee that was good. The lady at The counter was very mean. Acted like we were bothering her by being there and we were stupid for asking. Sad because it used to be welcoming and cute.

Drove across town to hit breakfast at 9am before heading out of town but they were closed. The failed to update their hours on google.

Ate there twice while vacationing in the Dells. First experience not great but we were local so tried again. The cupcakes are dry, not fresh on either day (had the birthday cake and carrot cake good flavor, just not fresh or moist, and not worth the cost). The chicken salad was very mayo heavy would have been better if not drowned. They burned my granddaughter's grilled cheese sandwich so they were kind enough to remake it. Overall it was fine for quick food but

Nice little cafe with good coffee. You can also get good ice cream here. They have indoor and outdoor seating and also wifi. They're located next door to a craft mall and antique mall.

I was introduced to Justjosie Cake Design and Sweets during the Boys and Girls Club Havana Nights Event Winter of 2022. It was SO GOOD, that we sought it out the next day for more. Now I know what the rest of the locals are saying, what about Neato 's in Baraboo, or Pies from Log Cabin? Not to take anything from them, but this team knows what they are doing! Want a true 'Cake Boss from Buddy and the Gang type ' Carlo 's Bakery Cake, yeah they can do that!!!
