Dunn's Deli - BANNER ELK

Recommend to eat or buy a beer here when you come to Banner Elk! Stopd by Dunn’s Deli for a quick breakfast on our way out of town. It happened as St. Paddy's day and this is the perfect place to come on this holiday! Had an amazing bagel sandwich with bacon pictured below and a loaded croissant sandwich I swore before I could get a picture! Both sandwiches were perfectly hot and delicious! Best breakfast sandwiches we've ever had! The croissant was so fluffy and buttery and was perfectly pressed and the bagel was so fresh! I just wish we were standing here before we were gone!! We come back and recommend Dunn’s Deli!

Place is a little dirty, but the food was good! I have the Otten Burger who was great. Girlfriend enjoyed chili and salad. Mom enjoyed grilled chicken salad. With only 2 employees it was probably a little difficult to keep the common area clean tables and torn carpet.

We're just strolling around Banner Elk and decided to give this place an attempt. Most other food joints seemed rather tailored to chic ski types. Very glad we chose this place because it was authentic and the food was delicious. I have the special of the day, a Pimento cheese party and loved it. Pretty dingy inside, but not terrible. The staff was very friendly. Parking was usually out of operation.

Quintessential dive deli. Haven't had a sandwich I didn't think was great. Could use a decorator's touch even w same style and a bit cleaner.

Love Dunn's deli! Best breakfast in town HANDS DOWN! filled French toast! Huge Croissants! Do not look further to get fat at breakfast. Also beer available! Wow!
