West Madison Craft Beer Wine

This is a gem! Great happy hour, bartender was a joy, food terrific. We will be back!

It was raining really hard that day, and they started to have a leak where we were sitting. They did move us to a new spot and everybody was very nice and accommodating. Service was a loot slow in the beginning, but all and all it was a good time.

Joe the bartender was excellent! Staff and Mgmt were great! Wonderful service! We'll be back again. Hopefully, there won't be any floods. lol!

My friend and I meet regularly for dinner, since it was restaurant week we decided we would try something new. We arrived around 7:20 PM by a flustered bartender who asked us if we had reservations, which we did and just sat at the bar. The place was not very crowded, but it took the bartender 10 minutes to take our order. Without water or drinks we just placed our entire order, it still took an additional 7-10 minutes to receive just our cocktails while we also watched her take on more orders. Our first course was brought out separately with my friend receiving her appetizer about 10 minutes before I received mine, at which point her was cold. We waited around and ordered another drink before our entree where we had both ordered a different type of personal pizza that was on their menu. I ordered a margarita pizza. At 9:20 we still hadn't received our entrees so we just decided to have them box up our entrees and desert. My friend pointed out that the busser cleaned the tables then touched our food she was boxing up. Filthy. To top it off I opened the boxed pizza that was brought to me and it was literally a plain cheese pizza, something that wasn't even on their restaurant week menu. The woman behind the bar looked at me and with a snarl asked me what's wrong with it? At this point I was just done, said nothing, paid a ridiculously high check and left. Ultimately this experience left a horrible taste in my mouth. I sincerely hope no one else has the same experience as we watched several other couples just get up and leave.

This is a very sad excuse for a wine and beer bar. I attended with a group of 4 friends that had high hopes for this bar that were sadly not met. One of us ordered a glass of wine and returned it as it had gone spoiled sour. The remaining 3 ordered the same IPA that was super flat. We all traded it back in for different beers and one was returned again for the same reason. The food was very good, but was extremely slow for such a quiet night it took over an hour to get an order of tacos and fries, which the fries never arrived. Maybe 10 individuals eating drinking at the restaurant while we were there. The owner was very apologetic and understandable of all the mishaps and covered our meal but I doubt I would ever return. Hopefully this is not the case all the time as It did appear to have high potential. Would sadly not recommend it return :
