Thames St Oyster House - Baltimore

Everything was delicious! especially the lobster roll is the look so beautiful!

One of the best restaurants in baltimore and one of the best fish restaurants on the east coast

This place is great for oysters but the crab cake leaves much to be desired. It’s big but I found it bland with a lot of bread filler and lesser quality crab meat. Much better places to get a crab cake in the neighborhood. During my stay I ate five crab cakes at five different places. This place would be last on my list. Go for the oysters!

This place is to die for. The best restaurant in town. The swordfish with grits is my favorite meal of all time of any place. There are not enough compliments I can give to Thames Street Oyster House

Neat row house quaint, some good points, some good food. Expensive but you know that by choosing it. Staff ranges from kind and attentive to brash Brooklyn. Food tasty, generally overcooked, we enjoyed OK. As other seasoned diners have mentioned (and sent back), we question the freshness of the seafood. Summary?: Far more hat than cattle. Tourist haven not all its cracked up to be. The masks as usual are a walking covid joke and at any restaurant I expect sanitizing tables so this covid care is a red herring as usual . I truly doubt the freshness of some seafood ingredients and personally have heard of unexplained gastronomical ill effects . Oh, and I have been visiting and dining in Baltimore usually on business for several decades.
