Not sure how this is worthy of a mention on Happy Cow they only one veggie roll and a veggie oriental salad. Zero vegan protein options. Also, their fish tanks were full of dead fish we counted 10 before we were seated. Updated from previous review on 2021 10 16
While I’m sure the other menu items are good, vegan options are extremely limited. We ended up with a bowl of edamame, a vegetarian sushi roll that was on average, and the oriental salad that was at $11 disappointing. Mostly only a plate of shredded Napa cauliflower. There are no vegan ducks or sandwiches, and no vegan items on the happy hour menu. I asked the server if something else could be made vegan on the menu and the answer was no. If you are strictly vegan, my proposal is to go elsewhere. The only reason I stayed is that I was with non-vegan family who had already ordered.
Very good food, atmosphere, and service. My server Jenae was very attentive friendly. Overall great experience.
I recently moved to Baltimore and have been exploring the area and trying out different restaurants. Kona Grill is definitely a top choice for us, earning a 5/5 rating. We visited for Valentine's Day dinner and had a fantastic experience. The ambiance was great, our server Sierra was excellent, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed everything from the Edamame and Potstickers to the sushi and entrees. We couldn't get enough of the food and are happy to have found this Asian inspired restaurant nearby. If you have the opportunity, be sure to stop by Kona Grill for a wonderful dining experience.
