The Cliff - Ballybunion

The food was fantastic and the service was excellent!

Spent 3 nights here. Parking is a bit busy as its near the beach so some use hotel carpark for beach. On arrival the reception staff was really nice and very helpful. The room was a single room so it wasn't big but it was very comfortable and the ensuite was big and I have to mention the water pressure in the shower, it was amazing. Tea and coffee was available in the room and it all looked recently painted. I have to mention the house keeping staff as they were outstanding as the attention to detail was excellent. Nice Bar and the food was good, I had the fish and chips on night 1 and found it a bit oily but the burger was so good on night 2 I had it again on night 3. There was always lots of staff available and they all were really nice and good. Good range breakfast. The hotel is beside a beach. I can't fault it as a good hotel but a note there is no lift and the wifi throughout the building was bad as kept connecting and disconnecting.

Excellent hotel. Rooms had everything and great food in the bar. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very high standard with a great view to the water. 5 mins walk to the beach

View is incredible. Lovely food in the restaurant, speciality fresh seafood. An additional bonus is the selection of cocktails including an whiskey sour, margarita and a espresso martini which we would definitely recommend.

I recently visited the Cliff House Hotel for dinner on a bustling bank holiday Saturday night. The ambiance was delightful and the service was attentive. The starters were delicious and generously portioned, allowing us to sample each other's dishes. The ribs were tender, the nachos were huge and tasty, and the starter platters were beautifully presented. The tapenade and homemade brown bread were particularly enjoyable. The hake main course was excellent, as was the pavlova dessert (perfect for sharing!). We decided to linger at our table to enjoy the performance of a local musician, which added to the overall fun experience. I highly recommend the Cliff House Hotel for a delicious meal and a memorable dining experience.
