Thirteen Fifty Six Public House

My friend and I were left after a hike in Castlewood. We wanted to find something on the way back to the city that was easy and convenient. This option came up so we decided to risk it. Not disappointed. We were absolutely enthusiastic about everything. From the service, menu selection and its very good house red ale. Delicious, friendly and easy on the bag. Big fan!

We went on a day where several employees were out with Covid or I don’t feel like working syndrome. The owners and employees who were there worked their tails off and managed to be polite and friendly in spite of it all. The place was packed but they explained the delays and their positive attitude kept people from being unhappy about the time it took to get our food. It was worth the wait. I had a wrap and my friend had a burger. Both were delicious. Other food orders coming out looked really good too. I can’t wait to try them. I will be back.

Wonderful experience on my 1st visit to 1356 Public House! The wings and fresh fried mushrooms both delicious and perfectly prepared. Staff and other customers all very nice.

We went for lunch over the weekend. There wasn't anything we didn't like. Salads were great. My buffalo chicken wrap and my wife's burger were fantastic. The fries are amazing!

We were here for a birthday party and had a simi private area in the back. They set up the food buffet style. The food and service were exceptional! My boyfriend said he usually doesn't like white pasta and absolutely loved it. The red sauce for the toasted ravioli reminded me of my grandmas! I can't wait to come back!
