The last time we ate here the cook had the fryer oil way too hot so our food was burnt to a crisp on the outside and completely raw in the middle. Getting served raw chicken is a dealbreaker and the kind of thing that can get you shut down because of food safety laws. Unacceptable in any restaurant shouldn't happen even once.

It appeared the HVAC wasn't working was very hot and humid. The food came out fast but the grits were not full cooked and no seasoning. The catfish was also not seasoned except for the breading. Overall the catfish was pretty good. The fires and hush puppies were over fried. Fries dark and limp, hush puppies super brown, very crunching and raw in middle. Wait staff was great, friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Price per person: $10–20
